May Beauty Favorites
I feel like this month's favorites is the easiest one to put together because I went on a 5 day holiday and all the products I brought with me were my absolutely loves. Even though somehow it ended up being mostly a clean makeup favorites, I do have some skincare, natural perfume and even a supplement in the mix. So let's get straight into it!
My first two faves are both from the April Petit Vour Box. (get one for yourself HERE)
This product will come as no surprise to you as I mentioned how much I love it on several occasion at this point! But that's what happens when you get a product that you have literally no complains about: it's beautifully pigmented, it wears well and has the juiciest and prettiest finish ever. I just love it and will definitely get more shades!
This lip scrub is formulated with sugar to exfoliate off dead cells and rich oils to moisturize. It's the perfect balance of the two and is both not too oily or too abrasive. Comes at a great price and has a delicious formula - I just can't get enough.
Let's move on to two products that I've been eyeing for a very long time from one of leading companies in the Clean Beauty Movement - Clove & Hallow. I purchased their Lip Velvet in Uptown Girl as well as their Correct + Conceal Concealer and was completely blown away by both.
The first time I tried this product and immediately went on my Instagram and raved about it haha! It's just that good! This liquid lip is everything you could ask for and I have absolutely no complaints which I think is a review in itself. It is super creamy and pigmented. The long-wearing matte formula that does not dry out your lips as it's formulated shea butter and Vit E to hydrate your lips. This is my favorite Green Beauty liquid lip formula I've tried so far!
What is unique about this concealer, is the fact that it's a full coverage concealer that is lightweight. What that means is you can apply it to any area of the face and build coverage without it looking cakey. Another huge win for me is the fact that it comes with a doe foot applicator which is my favorite packaging for concealers! It's just so easy to use and is perfect for on the go application. If you want to try something from Clove + Hallow, I would recommend you start with this gorgeous product - it's a must!
When I travel my skin always gets a bit fussy. Due to change of water contents and climate it usually reacts in some negative way. (either breakouts or rosacea flare-ups or both lol) I always try to keep my skincare very minimalistic when I travel to not overwhelm my skin and to help restore and support it. Having a good soothing cleanser is extremely important when dealing with reactive skin and this Pai Cleanser helped me keep my skin as calm as possible during my travels. It has been a staple in my regime for a while now, but this month it really demonstrated what a great product it really is.
Finding a cruelty-free, vegan and non-toxic perfume can be very tricky and it definitely took me a while to find one. These Zents roll-ons are so fun and easy to use. You can easily fit a number of them in your bag and mix and match scents depending on your mood. These roll-ons are coconut oil based and contain no alcohol which I love as I know they will not dry out my skin. They smell AMAZING and to me are a little self-love item that I take with me everywhere I go. You can use my code VALERIA15 to get 15% off your order!
This has been my favorite supplement for the past month. I met the founders at the Indie Beauty Expo at the beginning of May and since then has been completely obsessed with this probiotic. This product is certified organic and one scoop has 20 billion probiotics and 6 strains that support optimal digestive health and peak immune function. It also tastes delicious, so if you don't like smoothies as much as me you can mix it with water and still be able to drink it! It's raspberry flavored and is actually quite delicious! All Ora Organics Products are nutrient-dense, sustainably-sourced and vegan!
